PREVENT partners also contributed to the 12th International Conference on Urban Climate (ICUC12), held from 7–11 July 2025, where global experts gathered to address the evolving climate challenges facing cities. This year’s theme, “Heritage as an Urban Climate Challenge,” highlighted the crucial role of protecting and transforming both historical and contemporary built environments in a warming world. The conference provided a vibrant platform for sharing cutting-edge research, innovative urban solutions, and cross-sector collaboration — advancing global efforts to strengthen urban climate resilience.
