PREVENT at the 2024 International Conference on Climate Crisis in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Middle East

PREVENT partners also took part in the 2024 International Conference on Climate Crisis in the Eastern Mediterranean and Middle East (https://emmeclimate2024.cyi.ac.cy/), held in Larnaca, Cyprus, from 26–30 September 2024. Building on the momentum of the 2018 and 2021 editions, the conference gathered scientists and policymakers to address the region’s acute climate challenges and adaptation needs. A key focus was the revival of the EMME-CCI initiative, reinforcing collaborative efforts to protect one of the world’s most climate-vulnerable regions.
