PREVENT at European Meteorological Society (EMS) 2025

EMS Annual Meeting, Ljubljana 7-12 September 2025

EMS2025 (https://ems2025.eu/) hosted this year 704 participants from 49 countries gathered onsite and online. The event provided a vibrant platform for exchanging ideas across the meteorological and climate communities, fostering collaboration among public, private, academic, and NGO stakeholders. This year’s programme placed special emphasis on the growing role of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, exploring both their transformative potential and the challenges they bring to the weather and climate enterprise.
